"The world is accessible to us."
This quote struck me the most out of the whole interview between Neil Degrasse Tyson and Stephen Colbert. He said this quote after they discussed the controversy of the discovery of various things such as the nuclear bomb. His response was the quote above. He believes that everything was meant to happen. Meaning that we were given the knowledge and resources to make the discoveries accessible. I have to agree with Tyson. He did imply religion when talking about receiving knowledge from God and I also found that really striking. That is because most scientists do not believe in God or a higher power because there is a lot of science that can disprove everything that the Bible says. I find it interesting and admirable that Tyson can mix both of those two very different things, religion and science. Overall, I thought this interview was really interesting and made me think about my possible future working in math or physics.
